Via Mediatic: French artist and pioneer blogger Philippe De Jonckeere is irritated by American politicians who wage war against the "crude arts." In a poetic gesture of protest, he mailed 25 letters wrapped in porno photos. The U.S. Postal Service delivered 24 of them without a glitch. His explanations are posted here in French.

Less subversive but also original: the Swiss postal services will publish its first stamp made of wood this September, and Austrians are still lining up to buy a stamp featuring a rather wooden-looking Arnold Schwarzenegger.

So, is that Schwarzenegger stamp self-adhesive or does one have to lick it? (Shudder)

He he he.
Fleshbot did well by mentioning that this project is 10 years old. Would it be possible to mail this safely in today's America?
