Pour ceux encore fascinés par le succès historique de La Marche de l'Empereur aux Etats-Unis, l'émission de radio de KCRW The Business interviewe l'homme qui a racheté les droits du film français à Hollywood et a touché le jackpot (podcast ici). Il explique pourquoi il s'est débarassé des dialogues et de la musique, charmants en France, mais jugés atroces aux USA. Surprise: les rumeurs sur un procès intenté par les producteurs français et relayées par Nikki "EXCLUSIVE!!!!" Finke ne se sont pas matéralisées.
For those still fascinated by the historical success of March of the Penguins in the U.S., the KCRW show The Business interviews the man who bought the French film's rights and hit the jackpot in Hollywood (podcast here). He explains why he got rid of the dialogues and of the music that did so well in France, but were seen as terrible by Americans. Surprise: the rumored lawsuit by the French producers as relayed by Nikki "EXCLUSIVE!!!!" Finke haven't materialized.
