En terme de conflit d'intérêt journaliste-politicien, je pensais qu'on ne pouvait pas faire beaucoup mieux que la relation extra-conjugale récemment révélée de François Hollande, patron du parti socialiste français, avec la journaliste de Paris-Match chargée de couvrir le parti socialiste pour le magazine (du moins, de ce que j'en ai lu: les médias français hors Canard Enchainé préférant pratiquer l'omerta) mais le maire latino de Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, joue dans la même ligue: il divorce sur fond d'adultère avec une journaliste de la chaine en espagnol Telemundo, qui couvrait le maire de Los Angeles.
Je vous laisse deviner qui a annoncé le divorce du maire début juin en ouverture du journal télévisé de Telemundo... C'est la troisième vidéo sur cette page du Los Angeles Times et ca vaut son pesant de tamales: "Les rumeurs étaient donc vraies..." déclare très sérieusement l'autre femme.

As far as journalist/politician conflicts of interests are concerned, I thought that it would be hard to top the recently revealed adulterous affair of François Hollande, head of the French Socialist party, with the Paris-Match journalist in charge of covering the Socialist party for the magazine (well, from what I've read about it, since the French media other than the satirical weekly Le Canard Enchainé practice a constant omerta about politicians' private lives). But it turns out that the Latino mayor of Los Angeles plays in the same league: he's getting divorced over an adulterous affair with a journalist from the Spanish-language TV station Telemundo, whose beat was ... the mayor of Los Angeles. I'll let you guess who announced the mayor's divorce in the opening of the Telemundo newscast in early June... It's the third video in this L.A.Times page and it's worth a healthy pile of tamales: "Rumors turned out to be true..." the other woman declares very seriously.

Le plus intéressant dans cette affaire c'est que le blogueur Luke Ford, un copain excentrique et qui le revendique, a publié scoop après scoop sur son site pendant que les journaux traditionnels se grattaient la nuque en se demandant sur quel pied danser. Tony à LAist a une interview avec Luke.
